Hello Entrusted Ladies,
What a night, right? I enjoyed our first date. How about you?
You were so enjoyable and loving. I am blessed to be in the same room with each of you. God called an amazing group together for this study and I am humbled to tears…Seriously, quivering chin as I drove away. I can’t wait until April 17th, our next date!
I will be, and have been, praying over you as you open your books and bibles and begin to ease into the Word and study this week. For some of us it has been a while and for others it’s routine. Either way, I pray that the Word of God washes over you in a way that is new and life-giving.
Jumping into this study has already done a number in me. He is working in ways that are hard to swallow, yet so good in building a better character in me. Doing the Jesus thing is hard, yet I know to lose my life in Christ is to find Him, and therefore, find who I am in Him. If I don’t surrender to this, I’ll never do the work fully that I have been entrusted.
Monday night, I re-challenged us, Beth’s challenge:
“Who among us is willing to believe the power of Jesus could dramatically change something that has been true of you since birth.”
This takes my breath away. This is the hard stuff. What have I been clinging to that keeps me from living My+His=Our Life to the fullest? From going deeper?
For me to believe the power of Jesus could change ____________, must mean for me to trust Him. No matter the circumstance, to trust Him, to #justkeepswimming in faith that the work that is done in me is for my good and ultimately for His glory.
If this went deep fast, you are right. But don’t worry if this is not your immediate thought process. It takes time to warm up to people, thoughts, and ideas. We will be together for 12 weeks and we have time to mull over this stuff. Journaling her charge is a great first step. You + God is always a great first step. You may also feel free to talk it over with your small group leader and/or your small group.
Many of us have signed up for this study for community, others to go deeper into His Word, and some to find friends that they can “go to”. I believe God will meet those needs as we show up, dig into each others lives, and remain authentic and vulnerable with one another. I recognize that this can be hard at first. In time, it will flow and boy what a gift it is when people know you and still love you 😉❤.
Now to the logistics:
1. Your Small group leader will be connecting with you over the two weeks. Be on the look out!
2. We are to do WEEK ONE of study over the two weeks.
3. 6:00 fellowship, treats, and coffee/tea.6:30 start.

As we approach our two weeks apart, my prayer is that our minds are protected from any thoughts that keep us from His Word and His Truth:

We have entered into battle, ladies, by simply joining together and being faithful to what He is calling us to know in His Word and hearts!! We are in this together!
